• MESH SELECTION: Usually the particle size is fine and the surface finish is good, but the grinding efficiency is low. Coarse particle size leads to low surface finish, but high grinding efficiency. When choosing the grain size, the influence of the metal bond on the grain size should be considered. In addition, under the requirement of surface finish, choose the coarsest diamond to improve the grinding efficiency and reduce the grinding ratio.

• DIAMOND ABRASIVE CONCENTRATION: When the diamond concentration is too high, the diamond grains increase and the bonding amount decreases, which reduces the retention of the bonding agent to the diamond. When the diamond concentration is too low, the diamond grains will decrease and the pressure acting on each abrasive grain will increase, causing the abrasive tool to wear prematurely.
