Abrasives Are Awesome For High-end Equipment Manufacturing.

After more than 30 years of reform and opening up, China's economic development has made remarkable achievements. Its total economic output has jumped to the second place in the world and has become a global manufacturing power. In May 2010, China surpassed Germany to become the world's largest manufacturing and export country. The manufacturing integration capacity of complete sets of equipment such as energy, oil refining and nuclear power has been greatly improved, but there is still a significant gap compared with the international advanced level.

Since the global financial crisis and economic recession, countries such as the United States, Europe, Japan and Russia have been reviewing their development strategies in order to deal with the crisis, recover the economy and seize the opportunities and commanding heights of future development. On October 10, 2010, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council reviewed the situation, kept pace with the times, and based on China's national conditions, science, technology and industrial foundation, officially issued the decision on accelerating the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries in accordance with GF [2010] No. 32. The release of the decision has aroused widespread concern throughout the country and even the world.

Strategic emerging industries refer to industries that are based on major technological breakthroughs and major development needs, play a major leading role in the overall and long-term development of economy and society, are knowledge and technology intensive, consume less material resources, have great growth potential and good comprehensive benefits. In the decision of the State Council and the 12th Five Year Plan, China's strategic emerging industries include seven areas:

(1) Energy conservation and environmental protection industry;

(2) New generation information technology industry;

(3) Biological industry;

(4) High end equipment manufacturing industry;

(5) New energy industry;

(6) New material industry;

(7) New energy vehicle industry.

"If a worker wants to do well, he must sharpen his tools first.". Among the seven major fields, the high-end equipment manufacturing industry has intensive technology, high added value and strong driving role. It is the core link and development "engine" in the industrial chain, the high-end part of the equipment manufacturing industry and an important engine for realizing the transformation from "made in China" to "created in China". The other six strategic emerging industries also need the support of high-end equipment. The cultivation and development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry will provide strong support for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the development of strategic emerging industries.

1、 Achievements of China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry in the Eleventh Five Year Plan

During the Eleventh Five Year Plan period, the total output value of China's machinery industry increased from 4.18 trillion yuan in 2005 to 14.38 trillion yuan in 2010, with an average annual growth of 28%, 16 percentage points higher than the expected target of 12% in the eleventh five year plan. After years of efforts, the proportion and ability of China's mechanical products to meet the needs of the domestic market have increased rapidly. At present, the domestic market share has increased from about 80% in 2005 to about 85%. During the Eleventh Five Year Plan period, China successfully developed a number of major and high-end new products.

2. The core device of million ton ethylene complete equipment has been localized. The first domestic cracking gas compressor for million ton ethylene plant has been successfully developed in 2009. The three key equipment of ethylene plant - cracking gas compressor, propylene compressor and ethylene compressor have been completed and put into use.
