Huge PV Glass Project Settled in Xiuzhou

December 8, Zhejiang Xiuzhou District 100 billion level photovoltaic new energy glass headquarters and production base construction project signing ceremony was held. With a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan, the project will form 100GW of 100 billion level photovoltaic new energy glass production and supporting capacity, adding a "strong engine" for Xiuzhou to build a global advanced manufacturing base.
The signing of this project aims to better serve the development of the photovoltaic industry in Xiuzhou District, with the goal of building a 100-billion-level photovoltaic new energy industrial cluster, and accelerate the formation of a photovoltaic ecosystem with a complete industrial chain, high science and technology content, and excellent services. Among the four sub-projects signed this time, there are both comprehensive projects and supporting projects.
For example, the headquarters building project covers an area of 80 mu, will create 160,000 square meters of modern office, commercial business and other diversified functions as one of the modern business headquarters building. The photovoltaic industry comprehensive supporting logistics distribution Center project is the core project of photovoltaic new energy industry logistics optimization in Xiuzhou District. Through Haihe linkage, it further gives play to the advantages of transportation logistics and injects strong momentum for leading photovoltaic enterprises to reduce logistics costs and achieve high-quality leap-forward development.
Since the beginning of this year, Xiuzhou District has built the whole industrial chain of "cell + photovoltaic glass + supporting products + modules + equipment" and stabilized the supply chain of photovoltaic industry around the goal of reaching 100GW in the period of "14th Five-Year Plan". By the end of 2022, the total industrial output value of photovoltaic new energy in the region will reach 35 billion yuan, accounting for more than 30%, and there will be more than 2 photovoltaic new energy enterprises over 10 billion yuan in the region. By the end of 2025, the total industrial output value of photovoltaic new energy in the region will exceed 150 billion yuan, and there will be more than 5 photovoltaic new energy enterprises over 10 billion yuan in the region.
