Solar Glass Add Production Increased

From January to July 2022, the newly added production capacity of photovoltaic calendering glass in China increased by 63.6% year on year. By the end of July, there were 38 enterprises producing photovoltaic calendering glass in China, putting into production 110 kilns and 352 production lines with a capacity of 65,000 tons/day, including 93 kilns and 315 production lines with a capacity of 60,000 tons/day. The cumulative output of photovoltaic calendered glass was 8212,000 tons, up 50.8% year on year. Among them, the output of photovoltaic calendered glass in July was 1.356 million tons, up 62.8% year on year. The inventory at the end of July was about 21 days, three days more than the inventory at the end of June.

From January to July 2022, the average price of 2mm and 3.2mm PV calendered glass was 21.0 yuan/square meter and 27.2 yuan/square meter, down 18.3% and 10.6% year-on-year. Among them, the average price of 2mm and 3.2mm PV calendered glass in July was 21.4 yuan/square meter and 27.6 yuan/square meter, which increased by 18.6% and 31.6% year-on-year, and decreased by 3.2% and 2.8% month-on-month.
