Selection of atmospheric hole grinding wheel
Oct 13, 2021
The atmospheric hole grinding wheel has the advantages of not easy to be blocked, high durability and strong cutting ability. It is suitable for rough and fine grinding of soft metal, plastic, rubber, leather and other non-metallic materials. At the same time, it has the characteristics of fast heat dissipation, so it has good results in grinding some heat sensitive materials, thin-walled workpieces and dry grinding processes (such as grinding cemented carbide tools and machine tool guide rails).
The manufacturing method of atmospheric hole grinding wheel is basically the same as that of general ceramic bond grinding wheel. The difference is that a certain amount of pore enhancer is added to the ingredients, which is completely volatilized or burned out before the sintering of the grinding wheel, resulting in large pores.
The production scope of atmospheric hole grinding wheel is: generally, carbide and corundum are selected as abrasives, For example, black silicon carbide (c), green silicon carbide (GC) and white corundum (WA) are commonly used. These Abrasives have high hardness, brittle and sharp, and have good thermal and electrical conductivity; abrasive particle size (36#~180#); bond (ceramic bond); hardness (G ~ m levels); shape (flat, cup, bowl or dish, etc.); pore size (about 0.7 ~ 1.4mm).
