Hand held grinding application

Hand held grinding is a comprehensive generalization of grinding methods. Their common characteristics are: whether the workpiece or the support of grinding machinery makes the workpiece contact with the grinding tool, and the guidance and movement are directly carried out by hand.

Hand grinding is divided into fixed hand grinding and mobile hand grinding. The method of grinding the workpiece by holding the grinding machine fixed is called fixed hand-held grinding. The movable grinding method with hand-held grinder is called mobile hand-held grinding.

Main application fields of handheld grinding:

(1) The portable resin raw grinding wheel is used to process large and bulky workpieces that are difficult to install on the grinder, such as rough grinding of large castings.

(2) Use high-speed cymbal grinding wheel or steel paper grinding plate to process workpieces equipped with other 'parts, such as heavy building components and ship components.

(3) Grinding required for small adjustment, such as assembling parts in limited parts of common large parts.

(4) Use high-speed cymbal grinding wheel to finally form the workpiece or round the joint between the workpiece and adjacent parts, and grind the assembled or welded workpiece, such as the processing of automobile body.

(5) It is used for sculpture processing on irregular surface, such as mold processing.

(6) Workpiece finishing: it is required to round or finish the workpiece to make its surface beautiful and performance satisfactory, but there are no strict requirements on shape and size, such as machining stainless steel products with bendable cymbal grinding wheel, machining stone with PVA grinding wheel, etc.

(7) Do a small amount of grinding on the limited area of the workpiece surface to form a special shape, such as sharp grinding of various cutting tools.
